The 2026–'27 school year marks 100 years of Mount Alvernia Academy.
For almost 100 years, under the guidance of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, MAA has remained steadfast in its mission to educate the whole child, nurturing intellectual growth, spiritual development, and emotional well-being. We are honored to continue the remarkable legacy the sisters began more than a century ago.
Today, that legacy lives on in our mission: to educate and nurture students in an inclusive, challenging academic environment to become life-long learners and responsible stewards of the Earth, giving them a strong foundation for secondary school and beyond.
