You're invited to explore our beautiful four-acre campus, where each space is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity and creativity.
Three Buildings, One Campus

Located at 20 Manet Rd, Chestnut Hill, across the street from Boston College and just minutes away from Boston, MAA's Campus consists of three buildings: our Preschool & Gymnasium, Main School Building, which holds Grades 1-3, and our Immaculate Conception Building, which holds Kindergarten and Grades 4-6.

Beginning in Kindergarten, MAA students travel through all three campus buildings to attend special classes such as art, music, library, physical education, spanish, and technology. Accompanied by a member of MAA’s faculty, students move safely between spaces, benefitting from fresh air and purposeful movement throughout the day.

This structure allows our students to become familiar with the broader community and fosters a sense of independence and confidence as they grow. By engaging with different facilities and teachers across campus, students experience a dynamic and well-rounded educational journey that encourages curiosity, connection, and growth from the very start of their MAA experience.

Preschool & Dorothy McCormick Gymnasium

This building is home to MAA’s Nursery, Pre-K classrooms, and gymnasium—spaces carefully crafted to support the growth and well-being of our youngest learners. The proximity of the preschool classrooms to the gymnasium provides a seamless connection between learning and play, ensuring that students have daily opportunities for movement and exploration.

The gymnasium also serves as a versatile space for physical education classes, school liturgies, and community events, bringing students and families together in celebration and activity.

Our preschool students enjoy a safe and engaging environment where they can stay active, build coordination, and release energy. This intentional design reflects MAA’s commitment to nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—within a joyful and supportive setting.

Main School Building

Serving all Kindergarten through Grade 6 MAA students, the Main School Building is a hub of daily activity and connection across grade levels. It is home to our Grades 1, 2, and 3 classrooms; a dedicated science lab for these grades; extended-day rooms; and our cafeteria, which offers a rotating hot lunch each day. The building also features our library and technology rooms, providing students with rich opportunities for research, exploration, and innovation.

In addition, the Main School Building houses essential student services and administrative offices, including our full-time nurse, school counselor, and learning specialist team. These faculty and staff members provide comprehensive support for students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

As a shared space for the entire community, the Main School Building fosters collaboration and a strong sense of belonging for every MAA student.

Immaculate Conception Building

Home to Kindergarten and Grades 4, 5, and 6, the Immaculate Conception Building serves as a vibrant center for creativity, discovery, and reflection. The building includes our music and art rooms, where students express themselves through performance and visual arts, as well as a recently renovated science lab for Grades 4 through 6 that encourage hands-on exploration and critical thinking.

It also houses the school’s chapel—a serene space that offers students moments of spiritual connection during class liturgies and religion class.

Together, these spaces reflect MAA’s commitment to nurturing both the intellect and spirit of every learner, providing a dynamic environment where curiosity and faith flourish side by side.

Play and Recreation Spaces

MAA’s green campus features a myriad of outdoor areas designed to promote physical activity, social development, and joyful engagement. The recently renovated playgrounds—one created specifically for Preschool and Kindergarten students, and another serving all grade levels—offer safe, dynamic, and engaging environments for both recess and extended day programs. Each playground includes swings, slides, and ample space for students to run, jump, and play freely.

Students also benefit from additional recreational facilities, including a Gaga Ball pit, basketball courts, and a soccer field, which together provide diverse opportunities for exercise and teamwork. These spaces exemplify MAA’s dedication to creating an environment that supports the physical, social, and emotional growth of every student.
