MAA’S Spirit of Service Never Takes a Break

Just before the break, MAA’s second graders showed their heart by dedicating their Valentine’s Day to sharing their God-given gifts with others. Led by their room parents and teachers, students put together art kits for patients at Boston Children’s Hospital. The kits included art materials and uplifting cards made by each MAA student. What a great way to celebrate a Saint who devoted his life to sharing God’s love with others.

With school out last week, a group of families and students took the opportunity to volunteer. Eleven students, an alumna, and eight parents volunteered their time at Cradles to Crayons’ Giving Factory in Brighton. The group worked at the book and clothes sorting sections. Everyone had a great time helping and making a difference in the lives of those in our community. A huge thanks to Katherine Conway, an MAA parent with two boys at the school, for organizing this day of volunteering.

At MAA, service is part of our Franciscan identity. We encourage every one of our students and their families to share their God-given gifts and talents with others. Learn more about our school by and schedule a tour by visiting our website.
