They accepted the National Elementary School of the Year awards and Massachusetts Elementary School of the Year. Students had a number of fun workshops, including making insulated houses for the three little pigs, then writing stories to go with them. Three of our students' group won the best-insulated house, while the others were allowed to read their stories. And...such a fun cruise along the Potomac River! Thanks to all the parents who took the students, Mrs. Lyons, and Ms. Lawhorn for accompanying them. What an honor!
