Our first ever Faculty Friday spotlight is on Mrs. Anne Marie Kelley. Mrs. Kelley is the director of the preschool at Mount Alvernia. She has been a teacher for 43 years and has been a part of the Mount Alvernia family for 25 of those years. Mrs. Kelley is also a parent of three MAA alumni and when asked about the impact Mount Alvernia had on them she said, "they were very organized and prepared with the high academic expectations as well as the equally high behavioral expectations. They understood the value of being a contributing person in society and not only how to be a good student but a good person at the same time.” Some of the greatest lessons Mrs. Kelley works to teach her students include how to be happy, confident, and how to understand the individual.
