Our Faculty Spotlight Friday this week is on Kindergarten teacher Miss Jessie Cash. Miss Cash has been a dedicated Kindergarten teacher at Mount Alvernia Academy for three years. She says that one of the things she focuses on most with the Kindergarten children is how to be the best person they can be and right now her class is learning how to add, tell time, and be a good friend. When asked about Miss Cash, her co-worker Mrs. McIntosh says that “Miss Cash is always ready to make MAA a better place. She is always making sure that the children come first”. When asked what her favorite part of being a teacher is, she responded simply saying “the kids”. Miss Cash is an avid traveler and loves the beach and hiking.
