Why I teach:  My two greatest passions in life are music and teaching, and I am lucky enough to get to do both. There is nothing I love more than making music with others.

I believe that music is a very special learning tool. Through music, students are able not only to build specific music-related skills, but also important social and emotional skills. Working with teachers and students from Preschool through Grade 6 on school-wide liturgies, Christmas peagants, talent shows, Grade 6 spring musicals, and graduations, I have the unique perspective of watching them develop their stage presence over their time at MAA..
