On December 1, 2020, MAA will join organizations around the world in a movement of communal generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year, MAA is raising funds towards three efforts: relieving costs related to COVID-19 health and safety investments, furnishing the new Innovation Lab, and closing the gap between tuition and what it costs to educate each individual child.
