This beautiful celebration began with a special Veterans Day program led by our Student Council including patriotic songs, and the Veterans in the audience were acknowledged and thanked for their service. The entire school then sang songs dedicated to their grandparents & special friends including  “The Grandparents Day Song”, “A Bushel and a Peck”, “Count on Me”, “You Raise Me Up”, and “We Are the World”. A special thank you to Mrs. McCafferty and the Student Council for the Veterans Day piece of the program and Ms. Lorenzetti for her musical expertise. After the musical performances, the students enjoyed showing our guests their classrooms & introducing them to their teachers. Many thanks to all who joined us - we had guests who traveled locally, nationally, and even internationally!
