Congratulations to our 4th & 5th graders and Mrs. Lyons and Mrs. Poulopoulus! They have won the National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) for an outstanding energy education project: Hot and Cold Energy Villages. MAA was selected as Massachusetts Elementary School of the Year AND National Elementary School of the Year - WOW!
And...the sixth graders won Massachusetts Junior School of the Year with their project: LED Lights the Way.
As a result, they have been invited to attend the NEED Youth Energy Conference and Awards in Washington, D.C. at the end of June. What a great accomplishment!
