MAA Parent and Former Olympic Rower Ms. Sara Hendershot Vists Campus

She shared what it means to be an athlete—reminding students that anyone who moves their body can be one—and introduced them to the excitement of the Olympic Games and the many sports represented. Sara, a proud member of Team USA, brought photos from her time competing and encouraged our students to work hard every day. She even passed around pieces of her Olympic uniforms for students to see up close. To top it off, our kindergarteners created their own gold medals to take home.
