MAA Celebrates our Veterans

The service began with our Student Council President opening the ceremony with a short introduction on the origins of Veterans Day.  Next, the Vice President stated the significance of the holiday and the Commissioners of Religion read A Litany from The Book of Worship for United States Forces.   Three of our Student Councillors then recited the names of the veterans in the MAA Community.  The service concluded with an Our Father and Hail Mary, the Importance of Veterans Day by the Secretary of the Student Council and singing of "America the Beautiful".

Our Kindergarten class made poppies as the nation's national symbol of remembrance.
