Mount Alvernia Academy’s new school nurse, Mrs. Kelly VanEvera, grew up in Newton and graduated from Simmons College. She has been a Pediatric Nurse for over 15 years and has a wonderful eight-year-old daughter. Kelly loves all things fashion – clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry! She enjoys running, cycling and playing tennis.   She was a junior Olympian for diving and is crazy about college sports, especially Michigan State basketball and football. A few of her favorite things to do in and around Boston with her family include ice skating on the Frog Pond, flipping and jumping at Launch, and sitting on the beaches of Falmouth looking for shooting stars.
