MAA offers a comprehensive Extended Day Program designed to support families and provide students with a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment beyond the regular school day. The program operates daily throughout the school year and is available on most half days.The Extended Day Program provides a balanced schedule of activities that promote learning, creativity, and personal growth. Students enjoy a variety of opportunities for academic support and enrichment, including arts and crafts, sports, homework time, outdoor play, and snack. The program runs from 2:40 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on regular school days and from 12:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on half days, operating within the Main School building. Rooted in the MAA’s mission to educate the whole child, the Extended Day Program fosters intellectual, social, emotional, creative, and physical development in a supportive, community-oriented setting.

Daily Schedule

Following a snack, students enjoy ample time for indoor and outdoor free play across MAA's beautiful four-acre campus. A variety of individual and small-group activities—including arts and crafts, games, and team sports—encourage creativity, cooperation, and active exploration. Students in Grades 2–6 are also given dedicated time and support to complete homework, fostering responsibility and strong study habits. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to promote recreation, cultural enrichment, appreciation for diversity, and opportunities for independent choice and self-expression. Throughout the year, special events and holiday celebrations foster community, joy, and a sense of belonging, making the program a vibrant and meaningful extension of each child’s school day. Full Day Childcare

MAA offers a Full-Day Childcare Program on an as-needed basis for all MAA families. This program is available during February and April vacations as well as on other non-school days throughout the year, providing a reliable and nurturing environment when school is not in session. The Full-Day Childcare Program offers children engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social connection. Before-School Care

A Before-School Care Program is offered at MAA, designed to provide families with a flexible option for early morning arrival. Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:00 a.m., where they are greeted in a calm, supervised setting that allows for a gentle transition into the school day. The program is available for a daily fee of $5.00.
