MAA Wins NEED Awards! 4th & 5th Grade Science classes win MA Elementary School of the Year AND National Elementary School of the Year. 6th Grade won MA Jr. School of the Year!
5th Grade Living History Museum! A morning at the museum! Our 5th Graders finished their American Revolution Unit in Social Studies with a Living History Museum.
A Starry Night Gala! Our Starry Night Gala & Auction held on Saturday, April 1st was spectacular with our community coming together to celebrate everything MAA!
LED Lights the Way! Sixth Grade NEED Project Light Bulb Investigations The students learned how to measure Thermal Energy with the Infrared Meter, Illumination with the Light Meter, and Energy Use with the Kill-o-Watt Meter.
Hot & Cold Energy Sources - NEED Project Our Grade 4 and Grade 5 students conducted the NEED Project investigations on The Science of Energy, The Energy House, and The Power of Wind. This included Renewable Energy vs. Non-Renewable Energy, Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Thermal Energy and Electric Circuitry.
