MAA attends the NEED Youth Conference and Awards in Washington, D.C.! Congratulations to Mrs. Lyons & our 4th-6th grade students on winning the NEED Project awards for outstanding energy education projects! In honor of these awards, a group of students, parents, and Ms. Lawhorn attended the NEED Youth Conference and Awards in Washington, D.C. They had a great trip participating in STEM challenges, attending a banquet and ice cream social, touring our nation’s Capital and so much more.
Congratulations to the Class of 2022! Graduation week for our sixth graders and their parents kicked off with an awesome party at the Elks Lodge in West Roxbury complete with a DJ, dancing, a photo booth, and a delicious dinner!
What a spectacular Barbara Plunkett Thank-You Night! On June 2nd, we honored our beloved principal, Mrs. Plunkett, who will be retiring after 24 years at MAA.
MAA Students Excel in Math! Once again, MAA's students entered the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC), a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students.
MAA wins Massachusetts Junior School of the Year (Grades 6-8) and Elementary School of the Year (Grades 3-5) from NEED Project! Mrs. Maria Lyons, Science Teacher for Grades 4-6, and her students have once again won the NEED (The National Energy Education Development Project) awards for outstanding energy education projects.

Full-Day Childcare with Mrs. Harvey! In addition to our comprehensive Extended Day program, MAA offers a Full-Day Childcare program during school vacations, the week before school begins, the week after school ends and even during parent/teacher conferences!
