Music

The music room echoes with the voices of happy children singing. Students are actively involved in music classes at MAA. We support Orff-Schulwerk principles of combining music, movement, drama, and speech into lessons that resemble play.

We also apply the Kodaly approach, which promotes child-centered lessons based on discovery and music literacy. All students gain a love of music and develop the basic music components that advance self-confidence and lay the foundation to continue music studies. Rich in choral music, folk literature, nursery rhymes, and traditional singing games, the curriculum reinforces the spirituality of the Catholic faith.
